This project was for my Typography I class. We were asked to create two spreads for a magazine reflecting typography. We each chose our own topic, wrote the article, and created the visual design of the spreads. I chose the letterpress as my topic and how it is starting to make a comeback because people miss the texture and quality of printed materials in this digital world. My college was fortunate enough to have a letterpress that allowed me to spend countless hours getting familiar with the machinery and use it to create the title spread, the textures throughout the spreads, and the imagery.
